Engara privacy policy

This policy explains how EduSight Technologies Inc., operating the Engara product, handles personal information collected through our website, sales activity, support and contracted AI engagement services.

Effective July 29, 2026

Who is responsible for personal information?

EduSight Technologies Inc. is incorporated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. When we operate engara.ai or manage our own sales and support relationships, we determine why and how the relevant personal information is used. When Engara processes service data for a customer, the customer generally determines the purpose and Engara processes the information under that customer's instructions and agreement.

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@engara.ai. Our registered office is Unit 2900, 550 Burrard Street, Vancouver, British Columbia V6C 0A3, Canada.

What information do we collect?

We may collect a person's name, work email, organisation, role, inquiry details, sales and support correspondence, and other information submitted through a form or direct communication. Our website may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages and usage activity.

Customer deployments may process conversation content from web, WhatsApp, SMS or email, along with language, journey stage, routing attributes and connected-system data chosen by the customer. The customer controls which information its deployment requests and must provide its own appropriate privacy notice.

How do we use information?

We use personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure and improve the website and service.
  • Respond to sales, support, privacy and security inquiries.
  • Provide contracted AI engagement and connected workflows.
  • Communicate about a relationship, request or service change.
  • Understand service performance and diagnose technical issues.
  • Comply with law and protect our rights, users and customers.

Where applicable, processing may rely on a contract, consent, legitimate interests or a legal obligation. A customer is responsible for the lawful basis and notices that apply to its own Engara deployment.

How do cookies and similar technologies work?

Engara may use essential cookies or local storage to operate site navigation, forms and security features. We may also use measurement technologies to understand website usage. Where local law requires consent for a non-essential technology, we will request it before activation and make the relevant controls available.

When is information shared?

We may share information with service providers that support hosting, communications, model processing, monitoring, analytics and business operations. Providers may use the information only for the services they perform for us or our customers. We may also disclose information during a business transaction, with an affiliate, at a person's direction, or where disclosure is required by law.

Deployment-specific provider, region and data-flow details are available through a security review. Contact support@engara.ai for the information relevant to your planned use.

How long is information retained?

We retain information only while it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, our contractual commitments, security and support, legal obligations, or the establishment and defence of claims. Customer service data follows the configuration and deletion terms agreed with that customer.

Where is information processed?

Engara and its providers may process information in more than one country. Where an international transfer requires additional protection, we use contractual and organisational measures appropriate to the relationship and applicable law. Hosting location and transfer requirements for a customer deployment are confirmed during contracting.

What choices and rights are available?

Depending on the law and context, a person may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify identity and retain limited records of the request.

If Engara handles the information only for a customer, we may direct the request to that customer or assist it under the applicable agreement. Send requests to support@engara.ai.

How do we protect information?

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No online service removes every risk, so customers should configure journeys to collect only necessary information and should not send passwords, full payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive data. Visit the Engara trust centreor contact us for deployment-specific security information.

What about children and third-party links?

Engara's website is not directed to children under 13. A customer that deploys Engara for younger users is responsible for the notices, permissions and controls required for that use. Our website may link to third-party services whose privacy practices are governed by their own notices.

How will this policy change?

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be published here. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when a contract or law requires direct notice.
